The Healing Kitchen Series: A Functional Nutrition Lunch & Learn
Join us for a unique, interactive experience that blends functional nutrition education with a live cooking demonstration—and finishes with a shared, nourishing meal.
Each week, you’ll gather around the table to learn the why behind your food, watch simple, approachable recipes come together, and then sit down to enjoy the meal as a group. This is more than a class—it’s a space to slow down, connect, and experience how food can truly support your body.
Week 5: Metabolism, Hormones & Energy
Fuel Your Body, Don’t Fight It
In this session, we take a deeper look at metabolism, hormones, and energy—helping you understand why your body may feel out of balance and how to support it through nourishment.
You’ll learn how stress, under-eating, and blood sugar imbalances can impact metabolism, and why eating enough—especially protein—is essential for energy and hormone health.
The cooking demonstration will focus on satisfying, protein-forward meals that are easy to prepare and supportive of long-term health.
We’ll sit down together to enjoy a meal that fuels your body and leaves you feeling energized—not depleted.
Your body responds best when it’s supported, not restricted.

Week 6: Detox, Liver Support & Sustainable Living
Support Your Body’s Natural Detox Pathways
We close the series by focusing on how to support your body’s natural detoxification systems in a gentle, sustainable way.
In our nutrition discussion, you’ll learn how the liver and detox pathways work, and how everyday foods—like leafy greens, herbs, and fiber-rich plants—play a key role in this process.
During the cooking demo, we’ll prepare fresh, vibrant dishes that support detoxification while still feeling nourishing and satisfying.
We’ll end our final class gathered around the table, enjoying a meal together and reflecting on what you’ve learned—leaving you with simple, sustainable practices you can carry forward.
